Biography
James DePelisi possesses a versatile background in finance, management,
and communications. He holds
a Bachelor Degree in Finance from Florida Atlantic University, and for
the past eleven years has
specialized in the areas of Investment Banking, Corporate Finance,
Investment Advisory, and Public
Safety.
Mr. DePelisi was licensed as a Registered Securities Representative in
August of 1993, and has
consistently been recognized as a significant asset to every
organization he has been associated
with. He possesses Series 7, 24, 63 and 66 securities licenses and has
persevered in every element
of the Investment industry, including owning his own NASD securities
brokerage firm. |

Currently, he
is President and founder of LDV Capital Management, a Registered
Investment Advisory firm with the
state of Florida. Within
this capacity, Jim spearheaded and created the “Investor's
Business Hour Radio Program”, which for the past eight
years, has emerged as one of the longest running financial
radio shows in South Florida. One of his most recent
collaborations has been with the 150-year-old institution of
Standard
and Poor's.
He is a college adjunct professor currently teaching finance
and investment courses at Broward Community College and
formerly at Florida Atlantic University, respectively. He
enjoys working and communicating with people in both group
environments and one-on-one settings.
Mr. DePelisi is a member and Lector at All Saints Catholic
Church in Sunrise, Florida. He currently holds the position
of President of the South Florida Stock and Bond Club, which
is a 40 year old institution with over 150 members and $10
billion in membership, managed assets. He is also President
of the Broward County Crime Commission and is an active
member of the Broward Police Chief’s Association. He was
formerly on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of
South Florida.
Mr. DePelisi is a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He
received an Honorable Discharge with the rank of Sergeant in
1989. He holds a seat on the Economic Development Advisory
Board for the City of Sunrise. He also held a seat on the
Board of Directors of 21st Century Holdings, an insurance
underwriting company, publicly traded on the stock market
(NASDAQ: TCHC). In his capacity as a board member, he was
the Chairperson for the Company’s Independent Auditing
Committee and structured their Sarbanes Oxley compliance
program. |
